Acknowledging EVA data in publications
When EVA or ReSurveyEurope data are used in a publication, the EVA report article (Chytrý et al. 2016) or the ReSurveyEurope report article (Knollová et al. 2024) should be included in the list of references. Additionally, the EVA project number and the DOI of the data selection for this project should be mentioned in the Data Availability Statement, Acknowledgements, or another relevant section
If the publication uses only a few EVA databases or ReSurveyEurope datasets, these databases or datasets should also be cited directly in the article. If these databases or datasets are too numerous to cite individually, a list of source databases should be provided as a table in the Supplementary Information or Appendix. This table should include, for each source database or dataset, the GIVD code (if any) or the ReSurveyEurope dataset code, the full official name of the database or dataset, the name of the custodian (and optionally also the deputy custodian), the number of plots used, and, optionally, the percentage of plots used from this database or dataset relative to all plots used in the study.
